Thermal Transfer/Direct Thermal Printers continues Toshiba's tradition of well
made printers that lead the market in performance and price. Featuring a 300 DPI
(11.8 dots/mm). Print speeds of 4in's per seconds (101.8 mm/sec).
It can also handle a wide range of media. The B-852 has two standard and two
optional interfaces available: The RS-232C (standard), Centronics interface
(standard), Expansion I\O interface (option), PCMCIA (option).
Toshiba B-882
With a 300 dpi edge type printhead and print speeds of up to 8 ips, TEC's superb
print quality is maintained at a level expected from a leading printer
manufacturer. To this incredible package TEC has added a new range of advanced
features. Using the optional PCMCIA I/F board, more Logo’s, Fonts and Format
details can be stored on PCMCIA memory cards. With this board you can also
implement network solutions using a PCMCIA Ethernet LAN Card (supporting FTP
Client / Server, LPD) which when fitted offers Internet Web Printer Control. A
new faster CPU (internal clock speed 60 MHz, external clock speed 30 MHz)
improves the overall throughput, and coupled with the greater memory capacity
(16 MB) provides a print length of up to 54 inches (1.364 m).
